From the Mourne Mountains area, head towards Newcastle. If you're starting from the popular Mourne Wall hiking area, take the B180 road towards Newcastle. Continue for about 10 miles (16 km) until you reach the A2 coastal road. Turn left onto the A2 and follow the signs for Dundrum. After approximately 3 miles (5 km), you will see signs for Murlough National Nature Reserve. Turn right onto Murlough Road, and you will find the entrance to the nature reserve.
