If you're driving, head towards the Mourne Mountains area. From Newry, take the A25 road towards Hilltown. After approximately 10 miles, turn right onto the B195 towards the Mourne Mountains. Follow this road until you reach the entrance to the Mourne National Park. Continue driving until you see signs for Pigeon Rock Mountain. There is a small car park at the foot of the mountain where you can leave your vehicle.

To reach Pigeon Rock Mountain by public transport, take a bus from Newry to Hilltown (check local schedules; bus companies such as Translink operate in this area). Once you reach Hilltown, you will need to walk approximately 3 miles along the B195 road to the entrance of the Mourne National Park. From there, follow the signs to Pigeon Rock Mountain. Be sure to check the bus return schedule to ensure you can get back to Newry.
