If you are driving from any location within the Mourne Mountains, take the A24 road towards Newcastle. Once you reach Newcastle, follow the signs for Tollymore Forest Park. Turn left onto Bryansford Road (B180), and continue straight for approximately 2 miles. The entrance to Tollymore Forest Park will be on your left. There is a parking fee of £5 for cars, which can be paid at the entrance.

From the bus station in Newcastle, you can either walk to Tollymore Forest Park, which is about 1.5 miles away, or take a local taxi. Walking directions: Head south on Central Promenade towards the junction with Bryansford Road, turn left onto Bryansford Road, and continue straight until you see the entrance to Tollymore Forest Park on your left. The taxi fare from the bus station to the park is approximately £6-£8.
