Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are at the Salthill Promenade, start by heading east towards the Salthill Park. From Salthill Park, exit and continue walking towards the main road, the R336. Turn left onto R336 and follow it until you reach the intersection with Cappagh Road. Turn right onto Cappagh Road. Continue walking straight for about 10 minutes and you will see Cappagh Park on your left.

    From the Galway Atlantaquaria (National Aquarium of Ireland), exit and head towards the Promenade. Turn left and walk along the Promenade until you reach the main road, the R336. Turn left onto R336, and follow the same route as above, turning right onto Cappagh Road and continuing straight until you reach Cappagh Park.

  • Public Transport

    If you prefer to take a bus, you can catch the number 404 or 405 bus from the nearest bus stop on the Promenade. Make sure to check the bus schedule beforehand. Get off at the bus stop on R336 near Cappagh Road. From there, walk straight down Cappagh Road for about 5 minutes until you see Cappagh Park on your left.
