Getting There

Walking
From the center of Salthill, head towards the Salthill Promenade. Walk along the Promenade until you reach the end where it meets the main road (Seafront Road). Turn left onto Seafront Road and continue walking until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto the R336 (also known as the Clifden Road). Follow this road until you reach the junction with the N18. Cross the road carefully at the pedestrian crossing and head towards the town of Ennis. Continue straight until you pass the Ennis Town Park on your right. Keep walking until you see Arthur’s Row on your left, where you will find the Clare Museum.

Bus
From Salthill, make your way to the nearest bus stop on the Seafront Road. Look for the bus number 51 or 52, which heads to Ennis. Once on the bus, sit back and enjoy the ride. After about 30 minutes, get off at the Ennis bus station. From there, walk straight down the street towards the town center, then take a left onto Arthur’s Row. The Clare Museum will be on your right.

Bicycle
If you have access to a bicycle, start from the Salthill Promenade. Head towards the R336 by cycling along the Promenade. Once you reach the roundabout, take the first exit onto the R336 and continue cycling towards Ennis. Follow the cycle paths along this route, which will eventually take you into the town of Ennis. Once you enter the town, look for signs directing you to Arthur’s Row, where you will find the Clare Museum.
