    Walking

    From the center of Salthill, head towards the promenade along Salthill Road. Continue walking straight until you reach the large roundabout at the end of the promenade. Take the second exit onto the R336 towards Spiddal. Follow the R336 for about 7 kilometers (approximately 1 hour on foot), enjoying the coastal views. You'll see signs for Newquay. Upon entering Newquay, keep walking straight until you reach Flaggy Shore, which will be on your left. Look for the beach area and enjoy your visit!

    Public Transport

    From Salthill, walk to the nearest bus stop on Salthill Road. Take any bus heading towards Galway City. Once you reach Eyre Square in Galway, transfer to a bus heading towards Spiddal or Inverin. Make sure to ask the driver to let you off at Newquay. After disembarking, walk down towards the coastline, and you will find Flaggy Shore nearby. The total journey could take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours depending on bus schedules.
