Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from Salthill Promenade, head west along the promenade, enjoying the scenic views of Galway Bay. Continue walking along the seafront until you reach the end of the promenade. At the end, you will see a park area. Continue straight past the park, and you will eventually reach Seapoint Promenade. Turn left onto Seapoint Promenade and walk for about 5-10 minutes. Galway Atlantaquaria will be on your right.

    From Salthill, you can catch a bus towards Galway City. Look for Bus No. 401 or 404, and board at any bus stop along Salthill. Stay on the bus for about 10-15 minutes, and ask the driver to let you know when you reach the stop for the Aquarium. After getting off, walk towards Seapoint Promenade and turn right. Galway Atlantaquaria will be located a short distance ahead on your right.
