Walking
From Salthill Promenade, head east towards the main road (promenade leads directly to the main road). Continue straight until you reach the intersection with the main road (R336). Turn right at this intersection. Walk along the road for about 20 minutes until you reach Eyre Square, which is a large public space with various amenities. MacNeill's pub is located on the eastern side of Eyre Square.
Bus
Catch the number 401 bus from Salthill. The bus stop is located on the main road near the Salthill Promenade. Take the bus towards Galway City Centre. The journey takes approximately 15-20 minutes. Disembark at the Eyre Square stop. From there, MacNeill's is a short walk to the left as you exit the bus, on the eastern side of Eyre Square.
