From Salthill, head east towards the Salthill Promenade. Continue walking along the Promenade until you reach the main road (Rockbarton Road). After Furbo, continue on the R336 until you reach the town of Cong. Once in Cong, follow the signs or ask locals for directions to Abbey St, where Cong Abbey is located.
