Getting There

Walking
From Salthill Promenade, head east towards the main road, Seapoint. Walk along Seapoint until you reach the intersection with the R336. Cross the road and continue straight onto the R336, which is now called Promenade. Keep walking for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the city center. Continue straight on the R336, which will lead you to Eyre Square. You will see the square on your right side once you approach the city center.

From Salthill, you can catch Bus 404 or 409 from any of the bus stops along the Promenade. Make sure to check the schedule for the next bus times as they can vary. Ride the bus toward Galway City and get off at the Eyre Square stop. Once you disembark, you will be right at the entrance of Eyre Square.
