Start at the Salthill Promenade, walking along the coastline. Enjoy the views of Galway Bay as you walk towards the city. Continue along the promenade until you reach the end, where you'll find the entrance to the main road, the R336. Turn left onto the R336 and walk towards the city center. After about 10-15 minutes, you will reach the intersection with the Eglinton Street. Cross over Eglinton Street and continue straight onto Lower Salthill Road. As you walk, keep an eye out for signs directing you towards the city center.

Once you reach the junction with the Eglinton Street, turn right and continue straight until you reach the next major intersection. At this intersection, turn left onto Forster Street. Walk along Forster Street, passing by the train station on your right. Continue straight until you reach the traffic lights at the end of Forster Street.
