From Salthill Promenade, head east towards the city center. Walk along the promenade until you reach the end of the beach area. Once you reach the end of the promenade, turn left onto the main road (R336). Follow this road straight until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto the R336 towards Galway City. Continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach Eyre Square.
