    Walking

    If you are starting from the Salthill Promenade, head east towards the main road (Threadneedle Road). Continue straight until you reach the junction with the Upper Salthill Road. Cross the road and continue straight on the Upper Salthill Road, which will turn into the Quay Street. Follow this road as it curves south, and keep walking until you reach the Claddagh Basin. The Spanish Arch is located at the end of the basin, beside the Long Walk. Look for the distinctive arch structure which is visible along the waterfront.

    From the Salthill Park, head north towards the Salthill Promenade. Once you reach the promenade, turn left and walk along the waterfront. Continue walking along the promenade which will lead you to the Claddagh Basin. As you approach the end of the basin, the Spanish Arch will be visible on your right. The arch is situated near the Long Walk, a scenic area by the water.
