From the Salthill Promenade, head inland towards the main road (Seaside Road) and turn left. Continue walking along the road until you reach the traffic lights at the intersection with the Upper Salthill Road. Cross the road at the pedestrian crossing. Continue straight along the Upper Salthill Road for about 1.2 kilometers until you reach the junction with the Claddagh Road. Turn right onto Claddagh Road and follow it until you see signs for Terryland. The castle is located in the Terryland area, approximately 300 meters from the main road.
