From the Salthill Promenade, head inland towards the main road (Seaside Road) and turn left. Continue walking along the road until you reach the traffic lights at the intersection with the Upper Salthill Road. Cross the road at the pedestrian crossing. Continue straight along the Upper Salthill Road for about 1.2 kilometers until you reach the junction with the Claddagh Road. Turn right onto Claddagh Road and follow it until you see signs for Terryland. The castle is located in the Terryland area, approximately 300 meters from the main road.

Catch a bus from Salthill towards Galway city center. Look for the bus number 401 or 402. Once you reach the city center, alight at the stop near Eyre Square. From there, transfer to a bus heading towards the Terryland area. Get off at the nearest stop to Terryland Castle, which is typically 'Terryland'. From the bus stop, it's a short 5-minute walk to the castle.

If you have access to a bicycle, start at the Salthill Promenade and ride towards the Upper Salthill Road. Follow the same route as mentioned in the walking guidance but on a bicycle.
