Head southwest on the R263 road, and after approximately 2.5 kilometers, you will see a sign indicating the Lighthouse Steps. Turn onto the Unnamed Road, which leads to the parking area near the steps. The last part is a short walk from the parking area to the steps themselves. Ensure to check for parking availability and be aware that a fee may apply.

For those using public transportation, take a bus to Carrick. From Carrick, you will need to use a taxi or pre-arranged transport, as there are no direct bus services to Lighthouse Steps. Taxis can be arranged at the Carrick bus stop. Inform the driver you wish to go to the Lighthouse Steps, located on the Unnamed Road in Co. Donegal. Be prepared for a fare which can vary, so confirm prices beforehand.
Walking
