Car
If you are traveling by car, start from the main parking area at Slieve League Cliffs. Head southeast on the R263 road, following the signs for Killybegs. After approximately 3 km, you will see a sign for Sea Arches and a small parking area on your left. Park your car here, as the road is narrow and parking is limited. From this parking area, you will find a walking trail leading to the Sea Arches. The walk is about 20 minutes, and the trail is well-marked.
Public Transportation
If you are using public transportation, take a bus to Killybegs from Donegal Town. From Killybegs, you will need to take a local taxi to the Sea Arches. Taxis can often be found near the bus station in Killybegs. The taxi ride will take approximately 15 minutes to reach the parking area close to Sea Arches. Once you arrive, follow the walking trail for about 20 minutes to reach the arches.
Walking
For those who are already in the vicinity of Slieve League Cliffs and prefer walking, begin at the main viewing point of Slieve League. Follow the marked coastal path westward towards the cliffs. This scenic route will take you along the edge and offer breathtaking views. The total walk to the Sea Arches from the main viewing area is about 1.5 km and takes approximately 30-40 minutes, depending on your pace.
