If you are traveling by car, start from the main road in Slieve League. Head south on the R263, following signs for Carrick. Continue on the R263 for approximately 6 kilometers. You will pass by scenic views of the cliffs on your left. After about 6 kilometers, turn left onto Teelin Road (signs for River Glen Park). The park entrance will be a short distance ahead on your left. There is no parking fee, but be sure to park in designated areas only.

For those using public transportation, take the bus from Slieve League to Carrick. The bus service (e.g., Bus Éireann) operates routes from Slieve League to Carrick, and the journey takes about 30 minutes. Make sure to check the bus schedule in advance, as services may be limited. Once you arrive in Carrick, you can walk to River Glen Park by heading south on Teelin Road. The park entrance is about 1 kilometer from the bus stop, which should take approximately 15 minutes on foot. Be prepared for some uneven terrain along the way.
