Turn onto the Unnamed Road, which leads directly to the trailhead. There is a parking area available near the start of the path. Please note that parking may incur a small fee, typically around €5 for the day.

To reach The Pilgrim Path using public transportation, take a bus from Donegal Town to Kilcar. Once in Kilcar, you will need to arrange for a taxi to take you to the trailhead on the Unnamed Road. Taxis may be available at the Kilcar bus stop, but it's advisable to book one in advance. The taxi fare to the trailhead is generally around €15-€20. Be sure to check the local bus schedule for return times.

If you're already in Slieve League and wish to walk to The Pilgrim Path, start at the Slieve League Visitor Centre and follow the R263 road south for approximately 1.5 kilometers.
