From Sligo town, take the Bus Eireann route 64 towards Donegal. The bus stop is located at the main bus station in Sligo. Inform the driver that you would like to get off at the Lissadell stop. The journey takes approximately 20 minutes. Once you arrive at the Lissadell stop, you will need to walk for about 15 minutes to reach the beach.

If you are feeling adventurous, you can walk to Lissadell beach from Sligo town. Start from O'Connell Street and head towards the N4 road. Follow the N4 for approximately 6 kilometers. After about an hour of walking, you will see signs for Lissadell beach. Follow the signs, which will lead you to the beach area.

For those who prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the local shops in Sligo. Start your journey from the town center and head towards the N4 road. Follow the cycle paths available on the N4, which will take you directly to Lissadell beach. This route is approximately 6 kilometers and should take around 30 minutes by bike.
