Bus
From Sligo town centre, head to the Bus Eireann station located on Cleveragh Road. Take the Bus Eireann route 490 towards Strandhill. The journey takes approximately 15-20 minutes. Get off at the Strandhill stop, which is the main stop in the village. From the bus stop, walk towards the Strandhill beach. Continue along the beach path until you reach the main road. Strandhill Flats will be on your right along Carrowdough. Look for the specific address signage.

If you're in Sligo town, you can walk to Strandhill as well. Start from the town centre and head southwest towards the River Garavogue. Follow the river path until you reach the Quayside. Cross the bridge and continue straight onto the R292 road. Follow this road for about 5 kilometers (around 1 hour walk). Keep an eye out for signs towards Strandhill. Once you enter the village of Strandhill, follow the main road until you see Carrowdough on your left. Strandhill Flats will be nearby.
