Continue on the R562 for about 8 kilometers until you reach the entrance of the Gap of Dunloe. From there, follow the signs for Auger Lake. Note that parking may be limited near the lake, so be prepared to park along the roadway.

To reach Auger Lake using public transportation, take a bus from Killarney to Kate Kearney's Cottage, which is the nearest bus stop to Auger Lake.
