Car

If you're traveling by car, start from Killarney town. Head southwest on the N71 road towards the Ring of Kerry. After approximately 6 kilometers, you will reach the outskirts of the Killarney National Park. Continue on the N71 until you see signs for Lough Leane. Turn left onto the R563 road and follow the signs for Lough Leane. After about 2 kilometers, you'll find Brickeen Bridge, which is located near the shores of Lough Leane. There is parking available nearby.
Public Transportation

To reach Brickeen Bridge by public transport, take a Bus Éireann service from Killarney to Kenmare or Sneem. Ensure to get off at the stop for Lough Leane. From there, it is a short walk (approximately 1 kilometer) towards Brickeen Bridge. Follow the path along the lakeshore until you reach the bridge. Be sure to check the bus schedules in advance as they may vary, especially on weekends.
Walking from Killarney

If you are already on The Kerry Way and wish to walk to Brickeen Bridge, head towards Killarney from your current position on the trail. Follow the trail signs until you reach the town of Killarney. From Killarney, take the N71 road towards Lough Leane and Brickeen Bridge. This walk will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours depending on your starting point on The Kerry Way.
