If you are driving to Knockreer Playground from anywhere along The Kerry Way, first head towards Killarney town. Depending on your starting point, follow the signs for Killarney, and once you reach the town center, look for the signs directing you to Port Road. Drive along Port Road, which is located near the Killarney National Park entrance. Keep an eye out for Knockreer Playground on your left side. There is free parking available nearby.

To reach Knockreer Playground via public transport, take a bus to Killarney. Several bus services operate in the area, including Bus Éireann. Once you arrive at the Killarney bus station, you can either walk or take a local taxi. To walk, exit the bus station and head towards the town center. From there, continue on to Port Road, which is roughly a 20-minute walk. If you prefer to take a taxi, it will cost around €5-€10 to reach Knockreer Playground.
