Walking
To reach Dingle Bay from the town center of Tralee, start at the Tralee Town Park. Exit the park and head west on Ashe Street. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout at the junction with the N86 road. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto the N86 heading towards Dingle. Follow this road for approximately 12 miles (20 km). You will enjoy scenic views along the way. Once you arrive in Dingle, follow the signs to Dingle Bay, which is located near the harbor. The walk from the town center of Dingle to the bay is about 10 minutes.
Public Transport
From Tralee, you can take a bus to Dingle. Head to the Tralee Bus Station located on the Edward Street, which is a short walk from the town center. Look for the bus service heading to Dingle, typically operated by Bus Éireann. The journey will take around 40 minutes. Once you arrive at the Dingle Bus Station, exit and walk towards the harbor area where Dingle Bay is located. It’s just a short 10-minute walk from the bus station to the bay.
