Walking
From Tralee town centre, head southeast on Edward Street towards Upper Castle Street. Continue straight onto the R551 road (also known as the Castle Street). After about 1.5 kilometers, you will reach the junction with the N21 road. Turn right onto the N21 and follow the signs for Killarney. Walk about 9 kilometers along this road, which will lead you directly to Killarney. Upon reaching Killarney, continue straight to the Ross Road. Killarney Races is located at 38 Demense, Ross Rd, Bunrower, Killarney, Co. Kerry, V93 H504. It should take approximately 2 hours to walk this distance.
Bus
From Tralee, make your way to the Tralee Bus Station located on the Ashe Street. Take a bus towards Killarney (Bus Eireann operates several routes). Buses typically run every half hour. The journey takes around 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Killarney Bus Station, exit the station and walk southeast towards the Ross Road. Continue on Ross Road for about 1 kilometer until you reach Killarney Races at 38 Demense, Ross Rd, Bunrower, Killarney, Co. Kerry, V93 H504.
