Walking
From Tralee town center, head towards the Tralee Bus Station located on the east side of the town. Once you reach the bus station, exit onto the street and take a left onto Ashe Street. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto the R556 road heading towards Faha. Follow this road for approximately 6 kilometers. You will see signs for Mount Brandon. Once you reach the parking area at the base of Mount Brandon, you can start your hike. Ensure you wear suitable footwear for hiking.
Public Transport
From Tralee town center, walk to the Tralee Bus Station. Look for buses heading towards the village of Faha. The journey will take around 20-30 minutes depending on the service. Once you arrive in Faha, disembark at the main stop. From there, it is a short walk to the trailhead for Mount Brandon. Follow the signs leading to the hiking area. Make sure to check the bus schedules for return trips.
