Getting There

Walking
From the center of Tralee, head south on The Square towards Denny Street. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout. Take the second exit onto the N69, following the signs for Listowel. Walk along this road for approximately 3 kilometers until you reach the entrance to the Mount Brandon trailhead, which will be on your right. Look for a small parking area and a sign that marks the beginning of the hiking trail.

From Tralee town center, walk to the Tralee Bus Station located on Edward Street. Take the bus heading towards Dingle. Inform the driver that you want to get off at the stop nearest to Mount Brandon. The bus will drop you off along the N69 road. From there, it will be about a 10-minute walk back towards the trailhead entrance, which is marked with a sign. Keep an eye out for the small parking area on your right.
