If you are traveling by car, head towards the A2 road if you are coming from Belfast. Follow the A2 towards Carrickfergus. Once you reach Carrickfergus, follow signs for the town center. The castle is located on Marine Highway, and you can find parking nearby. Keep an eye out for the large castle structure as you approach.

To reach Carrickfergus Castle via public transport, take a train from Belfast Lanyon Place station to Carrickfergus station. Trains are frequent and the journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Carrickfergus station, exit the station and walk towards the seafront. Head towards the Marine Highway, and you will see signs directing you to the castle, which is about a 15-minute walk from the station.
