The castle is located at Marine Hwy, Carrickfergus BT38 7BG, United Kingdom. There is a small parking area available nearby, which may incur a fee.

    To reach Carrickfergus Castle by bus, start at the Europa Buscentre in Belfast. Take the 2A or 2B bus service that travels to Carrickfergus. The journey takes about 30-40 minutes. Follow the signs towards Marine Hwy, and you will arrive at Carrickfergus Castle.
