    If you are starting from the heart of Waterford city, make your way to the Waterford Bus Station located at 33-34 The Quay. From there, head towards the Quay and follow it south. Continue walking straight for about 15 minutes until you reach the bridge over the River Suir. Cross the bridge and continue walking straight onto Patrick Street. After about 10 minutes, you will reach the junction with the Castlecomer Road (N76). Turn left onto Castlecomer Road and continue for approximately 30 minutes. As you enter Kilkenny, look for signs directing you to the city center. The Black Abbey will be located on your left just off the main road.
