Purchase your ticket at the terminal, then board the ferry, which will take you directly to Clare Island. The ferry ride typically takes about 30 minutes.

If you prefer public transport, you can take a bus from Westport to the nearby village of Louisburgh. From the bus station in Westport, catch the bus that goes to Louisburgh. The journey takes around 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Louisburgh, follow the signs to the Clare Island Ferry terminal, which is a short walk from the bus stop. Purchase your ferry ticket and board the ferry to Clare Island.
