Getting There

Bus
From Westport, head to the Westport Bus Station located on Station Road. Board the bus heading towards Letterfrack. The journey will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at the Letterfrack bus stop, exit the bus and follow the main road (N59) for approximately 1 km towards the direction of the village. Look for signs directing you to Diamond Hill. The trailhead is well marked.

Walking
If you prefer to walk, start at Westport Town Centre. Head south on Bridge Street and continue onto Shop Street. Follow this street until you reach the N59. Turn left onto the N59 and walk towards Letterfrack. This walk is about 18 km and will take around 4-5 hours, so be prepared with water and snacks. Once you reach Letterfrack, follow the main road until you see the signs for Diamond Hill.

Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Westport. Start from the town centre and head towards the N59. Follow the N59 cycle path towards Letterfrack.
