Start at the Westport town center, specifically at the Westport Plaza Hotel. Head southwest on the Main Street (N5) towards the Quay area. Continue walking straight for about 1.5 kilometers. You'll pass the Westport House on your left, which is a popular local attraction. After about 20 minutes of walking, you will reach a roundabout. Take the first exit to stay on the N59 road towards Mulranny. After approximately 5 kilometers, you will see signs directing you to Mulranny Beach. Follow the signs, and you will arrive at Mulranny Beach, which is known for its stunning views and sandy shore.

From the Westport town center, walk to the Westport bus station located on Station Road. Look for the bus service heading to Mulranny, which usually has a schedule available at the station. Once you board the bus, enjoy the scenic route for about 20-30 minutes. The bus will drop you off at a stop near Mulranny Beach. From there, it's just a short 5-minute walk to the beach itself. Follow any local signs directing you to the beach entrance.
