Getting There

Start from the center of Westport, ideally from The Octagon, the main square in town. Head south on Bridge Street towards the river. Cross the river using the bridge. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto the N59 road. Keep walking along the N59, following the signs towards Knockranny. After about 1.5 kilometers, you will see a sign for Drummindoo Stud on your left. Follow the path leading into the stud's entrance.

From Westport Bus Station, take a bus heading towards Ballina or Castlebar. Request to stop at the Knockranny area. Once you disembark, walk back towards the main road (N59). Drummindoo Stud is approximately a 10-minute walk from the bus stop. Look for a sign directing you to the stud on your left along the main road.
