Walking

Start at the Westport Town Centre. From the main square, head north on Castlebar Street (N59) towards the direction of Castlebar. Continue walking straight for about 1.5 km. You will pass by several shops and cafes along the way. Keep an eye out for the signs indicating N59. As you approach the outskirts of the town, you will see the Glendenning Monument on your right-hand side, just a short distance after the turn-off for Cahernamart. The monument is situated along the roadside, and there is a small area to stop and view it safely.

If you have a bicycle, you can start from Westport Town Centre. Head north on Castlebar Street (N59) and continue straight for approximately 1.5 km. The route is relatively flat and easy to navigate.
