Start at Wexford Bus Station, located at 1-2 Crescent Quay, Wexford. Take the Bus Éireann route 376 towards New Ross. The bus departs regularly, so check the schedule for the most convenient time. After approximately 30 minutes, disembark at the stop for Tintern Abbey. From there, it's a short 10-minute walk to Colclough Walled Garden.

Walking
If you prefer to walk from Wexford Town to Colclough Walled Garden, head south along the Quays, following signage towards the N25. This route is approximately 10 miles and will take around 2.5 to 3 hours. As you walk, enjoy the beautiful scenery along the River Slaney. Once you reach the N25, continue towards New Ross until you see signs for Tintern Abbey. Follow the signs into the estate, where the garden is located.

For those who enjoy cycling, you can rent a bike in Wexford Town. Follow the same route as the walking directions, but take the National Cycle Route 1 towards New Ross. This route is approximately 10 miles and will take about 1 to 1.5 hours depending on your cycling speed. Once you reach Tintern Abbey, park your bike and continue on foot to Colclough Walled Garden.
