If you are driving from Kilkenny City, head southeast on the R693 road towards the town of Graiguenamanagh. After approximately 10 km, turn left onto the N10 road towards Mountsion. Continue on the N10 for about 5 km, then take a right turn onto a local road leading to Mountsion. The Round Tower is located at Mountsion, Co. Kilkenny. There is ample parking available nearby.
Public Transportation
To reach the Round Tower via public transport, start at Kilkenny City. Take a bus from Kilkenny to the nearest town, which is Graiguenamanagh. The bus service runs regularly, but check local schedules for exact timings. Once you arrive at Graiguenamanagh, you will need to walk approximately 3 km to Mountsion.
