Getting There

Bus
From Wexford town center, make your way to the bus stop located at the Main Street. Look for the bus service that heads towards New Ross. You can take either Bus Éireann route 376 or route 377. The bus ride will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Make sure to ask the driver to let you know when you reach the stop for John F Kennedy Arboretum, which is near Ballysop. After disembarking, follow the signs towards the entrance of the Arboretum, which is about a 10-minute walk from the bus stop.

Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in Wexford. Start your journey by heading southwest on the R730 road toward New Ross. Follow the R730 until you reach the junction with the N25. Turn left onto the N25 and continue until you see signs for the John F Kennedy Arboretum. There are bike racks available at the entrance of the Arboretum.

Walking
For the adventurous walker, you can take a scenic route to the Arboretum. Start from the center of Wexford and walk towards the R730 road. This route will take you through some beautiful countryside. Follow the R730 to New Ross, which is approximately 10 kilometers away. Once you reach New Ross, look for signs directing you to the John F Kennedy Arboretum. The walk will take around 2 hours, so make sure to wear comfortable shoes and stay hydrated.
