Getting There

  • Walking

    From Castletown, head towards the main road (A5) by walking north on The Parade. Continue straight until you reach the junction with the A5. Turn left onto the A5 and follow the road for approximately 2.5 miles. You will pass through the small village of Ballasalla. Keep an eye out for the signs pointing towards Dalby. After passing through Ballasalla, continue straight, following the A5, which will eventually turn into the A27. After approximately 1 mile on the A27, you will reach Niarbyl Beach on your right. Look for the parking area.

  • Bus

    From Castletown, walk to the nearest bus stop located on the A5 (Castle Street). Take the bus number 3 towards Douglas. Inform the driver that you want to get off at the stop for Dalby. The journey will take about 20-30 minutes. Once you get off at Dalby, walk towards the coast. Follow the path leading to Niarbyl Beach, which is approximately a 15-minute walk from the bus stop.

  • Cycling

    If you have access to a bicycle, start from Castletown and head towards the A5. Ride north on The Parade until you reach the A5. Turn left onto the A5 and continue for about 2.5 miles. You will pass through Ballasalla. After that, continue on the A5, which turns into the A27. Niarbyl Beach will be approximately 1 mile down the A27 on your right. There is a bike rack available at the beach for parking your bicycle.
