    If you are in the heart of Castletown, start at the Castle Rushen located at the center of the town. From Castle Rushen, head south towards the harbor. As you reach the harbor, take a left turn and follow the coastline along the promenade. Continue walking along the water until you see The Herring Tower in the distance, situated on a small rocky outcrop. It will be to your right as you approach the end of the promenade.

    Another route from the Castletown Square is to walk towards the Market Square. From there, continue down the main street, Duke Street, and then turn right onto The Parade. Follow The Parade until you reach the harbor area. Once you reach the harbor, continue along the promenade. The Herring Tower will be visible, and you will need to walk around the harbor's edge to reach it.
