Getting There

  • Car

    From Douglas Head, head northwest on the A5 towards the town center. Continue straight for about 1.5 miles until you reach the roundabout at the junction with the A1. Take the second exit onto the A1 towards Onchan. After approximately 0.5 miles, take a left onto Royal Avenue. Onchan Park will be on your left-hand side. There is limited parking available near the park.

  • Public Transportation (Bus)

    From Douglas Head, walk to the nearest bus stop on the A5 (close to the Sea Terminal). Catch the bus number 3 or 4 towards Onchan. The journey takes around 15 minutes. Get off at the stop named 'Royal Avenue'. From there, Onchan Park is a short walk. Head up Royal Avenue until you see the entrance to the park on your left.

  • Walking

    If you prefer to walk, you can take a scenic route. Start at Douglas Head and walk down to the promenade, heading north. Follow the promenade until you reach the end, then turn right onto the A1. Continue along the A1 for about 1.5 miles. When you reach Royal Avenue, turn left and Onchan Park will be on your left. This walk is approximately 2 miles and will take around 40 minutes.
