    From the Douglas bus station, take the bus number 3 or 3A towards Ballasalla. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Stay on the bus until you reach the 'Ballasalla Mill Road' stop. After getting off, walk along Mill Road for about 10 minutes, and you will see Rushen Abbey on your left.

    If you prefer to walk, start at the Douglas promenade and head south towards the Isle of Man College. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout. Take the first exit onto Peel Road and continue straight until you reach the junction with the A5. Turn left onto the A5 and follow the road for approximately 2 miles. You will reach Ballasalla; from there, follow Mill Road, which will lead you directly to Rushen Abbey.
