Getting There

  • Walking

    From the centre of Kirk Michael, start at the main post office located on Church Road. Head south on Church Road towards the A3 road. Turn right onto the A3 and follow it for approximately 1.5 miles. You will pass a few small shops and local houses. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout at the entrance to Douglas. Take the second exit onto the A5 (Victoria Road) and follow this road for about 1 mile. After a short while, turn right onto Kingswood Grove. The Manx Museum will be on your left at 1 Kingswood Grove.

    From Kirk Michael, walk to the nearest bus stop located on the A3 road near the post office. Take the Bus Vannin service towards Douglas. The bus will take you directly to the bus station in Douglas. Once you arrive at the Douglas bus station, exit the station and turn left onto the A5 (Victoria Road). Walk straight for about 0.5 miles and turn right onto Kingswood Grove. The Manx Museum is located at 1 Kingswood Grove on your left.
