Getting There

Walking
From the Laxey Glen Mills, head southeast on the A2 road towards Laxey. Continue straight until you reach the Laxey train station. From the station, follow the signs to the bus stop. Take the bus towards Douglas (usually marked with a sign). The bus will take you directly to Douglas. Get off at the stop for the Manx Museum, which is located at 1 Kingswood Grove. The museum is a short walk from the bus stop.

Start at the Laxey bus stop located near the Laxey Station. Look for bus service number 3 or 3A, which travels towards Douglas. Board the bus and enjoy the scenic ride, which takes approximately 30 minutes. Disembark at the bus stop closest to the Manx Museum (1 Kingswood Grove). You will see the museum just a short walk away from the bus stop.

Bike
If you have access to a bicycle, start from Laxey village and head towards the A2 road. Follow the A2 road towards Douglas, keeping to the cycle path where available. This route is approximately 6 miles and should take around 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive in Douglas, you will find bike parking near the Manx Museum at 1 Kingswood Grove.
