Public Transport
From your location in Onchan, head to the nearest bus stop. You can take the bus route number 3 or 4 towards Laxey. The bus will take you along the coast, offering beautiful views of the Isle of Man. After approximately 20 minutes, you will arrive at the Laxey stop. Once you get off the bus, walk down Mines Road for about 5 minutes, and you will see The Great Laxey Wheel on your left.

If you prefer to walk, start at the Onchan Park. Head southwest along the main road towards the Laxey area. Continue straight for about 1.5 miles until you reach the junction where you can turn onto Mines Road. Follow Mines Road for another 10-15 minutes, and you will arrive at The Great Laxey Wheel, which will be on your right.
