Getting There

Walking
From the centre of Port St Mary, start at the main bus stop on the promenade. Head north towards the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto the A27 road, also known as the Shore Road. Continue walking straight for about 1 mile (approximately 20 minutes). You will pass residential areas and some small shops along the way. Look for signs indicating the direction to the Braaid. As you approach the Braaid, you will see it on your left side. The entrance is clearly marked and there is a small pathway leading up to the site.

Bus
Start at the main bus stop on the promenade in Port St Mary. Take the Bus Vannin service number 1 or 2 towards Douglas. You should ask the bus driver to let you know when you reach The Braaid stop. It’s a short ride of about 10-15 minutes. Once you get off the bus, The Braaid is a short walk away, just follow the signs leading to the historical landmark.
