Getting There

  • Walking

    Start your journey at the Castletown Square, a central location in Castletown. From the square, head south on the main road, which is called The Parade. Continue straight for about 0.5 miles (800 meters) until you reach a roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto the A5 road, which is also known as the Castletown to Port Erin road. Walk along this road for approximately 1 mile (1.6 kilometers). As you walk, you will pass the Castletown Civic Centre and later the entrance to the Castle Rushen on your left. Keep an eye out for the signs pointing to Fairy Bridge. After walking for about 20 minutes, you will see the Fairy Bridge on your right side, just before reaching the village of Ballasalla.

  • Public Transport (Bus)

    From Castletown Square, head to the nearest bus stop located at the square. Look for the bus service number 1 or number 2 that travels towards Ballasalla or Port Erin. Board the bus and inform the driver that you wish to get off at Fairy Bridge. The bus ride will take approximately 10-15 minutes, and you will be dropped off close to the bridge. After disembarking, walk a short distance back towards the bridge, which will be visible from the bus stop.
