Getting There

• Car

  From Snaefell, head southwest on the A18 road towards Douglas. Continue on the A18 until you reach the roundabout at the junction with the A5. Take the first exit onto the A5 towards Port Soderick. Follow the A5 for approximately 5 miles, which will take you through beautiful countryside and coastal views. As you approach Port Soderick, keep an eye out for signs to Port Soderick Beach. Turn left onto the B10 and follow this road until you reach the beach area. Parking is available near the beach, but be mindful of any parking regulations.

• Public Transport

  From Snaefell, you can take the bus service operated by the Isle of Man Transport. Look for the bus stop close to your location and catch the bus heading towards Douglas. Once in Douglas, transfer to the bus service that goes to Port Soderick (check the current schedules as they can vary). The bus journey should take about 20-30 minutes. After disembarking, follow the pedestrian signs towards Port Soderick Beach, which is a short walk from the bus stop.

• Walking

  If you're feeling adventurous and are within a reasonable walking distance from Port Soderick, you can enjoy a scenic walk. Starting from Snaefell, make your way down to the A18 and follow the path along the coast towards Port Soderick. The walk is approximately 3-4 miles and takes about 1-1.5 hours. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes and take your time to enjoy the stunning views along the way.
