Getting There

Walking
From the Port St Mary bus stop, head northeast on Station Road towards the main road. Turn left onto the A27 and walk straight for about 0.8 miles (approximately 15-20 minutes). You will pass the beautiful Port St Mary harbour on your left. Continue walking until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto the A2 road. Follow this road for about 1.5 miles, and you'll see signs for Laxey. As you approach Laxey, you will come to a set of traffic lights. Continue straight through the lights, and shortly after, you will see the Great Laxey Wheel on your left on Mines Road.

Bus
From Port St Mary, walk to the nearest bus stop located on the A27 (main road). Take the bus number 4 or 5 towards Douglas. In about 15-20 minutes, you will arrive at the Laxey stop. Once you get off the bus, head down the road towards the Laxey Wheel, which will be visible from the bus stop. Follow the signs for the Great Laxey Wheel, which is just a short 10-minute walk from the bus stop.
