Bus
From Port St Mary, walk to the nearest bus stop located on the main road, near the Port St Mary Post Office. Catch the number 3 bus heading towards Douglas. Stay on the bus for approximately 30 minutes. When you reach Laxey, get off at the Laxey Village stop. From the bus stop, follow the signs for The Great Laxey Wheel, which is about a 15-minute walk. Head up Mines Road, and the wheel will be on your left.

Walking
If you prefer to walk from Port St Mary, start by heading north on the A27 road towards Castletown. Continue on this road until you reach the junction with the A1 road. Turn left onto the A1 and follow it for about 3 miles, then take the right fork onto the A2 towards Laxey. The walk will take approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes. Once you arrive in Laxey, follow the signs towards The Great Laxey Wheel, which is located on Mines Road.
